A Windows desktop application built around one architectural rule: a single source of truth for what your system is doing. The dashboard, the health score, the recommendations panel, and INGRID all read from the same live telemetry pipeline — they never independently disagree with each other.

What works today

Live system telemetry

CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and temperature, sampled continuously through a single telemetry pipeline and reflected live on the dashboard.

Accurate CPU temperature selection

Correctly identifies the real CPU package sensor on both Intel and AMD hardware, instead of guessing from one sensor name pattern.

Hardware discovery

Detailed processor, graphics, memory, storage, motherboard, BIOS, and Windows information, gathered on demand via a hardware scan.

System health scoring

A single authoritative 0-100 health score and rating, computed from live temperature, memory, storage, and load readings — the same number everywhere it’s shown.

Optimization Advisor

Deterministic, evidence-based recommendations. Each one states what was detected, why it matters, the recommended action, and a risk level. Nothing is applied automatically — every recommendation is explanation first, and most are explanation only.

Safe optimization execution

A Safe-level recommendation — currently temporary-file cleanup — can actually be carried out. One pipeline every time: your explicit confirmation, a safety check, a restore point, the change, then verification. It is reported as successful only if that verification confirms it; a refused, cancelled, or failed run is recorded as exactly what it was, never quietly as a success.

Verified rollback

Anything BlueCrow applied can be undone from Optimization History, through the mirror of the same pipeline. Rollback is offered only while the backup it depends on is genuinely still intact, so it is never a dead button — and a rollback only counts as done once it has been verified too.

Thermal reasoning

Per-component CPU/GPU temperature classification, plus cross-metric reasoning about whether a workload is CPU-bound, GPU-bound, or balanced, and whether cooling looks adequate for the load.

Art Studio

Conversational image generation and editing through INGRID — generate, restyle, vary, remove background, and resize for wallpaper, all driven through chat rather than separate generate/style buttons. Includes project save/export and history management.

Connect Your Creative Services

Connect your own OpenAI account so INGRID routes Art Studio image requests to it instead of the placeholder — no manual per-request provider picking. Verified end to end against a live account.

Music Studio

Ask INGRID for a track and play it back in a dedicated tab. Generation routes through your own connected ElevenLabs account, verified end to end against a live account; until you connect one, requests fail with an honest explanation rather than a placeholder result.

Voice conversation with INGRID

Push-to-talk speech recognition (OpenAI Whisper, local Windows fallback) and natural speech replies in Marin, an OpenAI voice — live-verified end to end against real microphone hardware, not just mocked HTTP calls.

Living Presence — reactor and avatar

INGRID's reactor emblem and avatar respond in real time to what she's actually doing right now, driven by one shared live state bus so the dashboard never shows two visual layers disagreeing with each other.

Not yet functional

Being honest about what isn’t built is as important as showing what is.

  • Story Studio — architecturally scoped, but no generation workflow is built or user-facing yet.
  • Game Studio — an early idea only; no design or implementation work has started.
  • Storage and memory reasoning modules — not implemented yet.
  • Windows Update reasoning — not implemented yet.
  • An installer or public download — BlueCrow Studio is currently built from source only.
